We stopped here on our way to Newport. The bathrooms were very clean, and it's a great place to way around for a few minutes before getting back in the car. We went down to river which was low in Sept. Looks like a good swim spot to beat the heat.

Love this place. Its a new find for me and some friends. Its shallow, slow flowing in most places. Some areas of the river are 100% sand on the river bed which makes it nice for walking and beautiful for paddleboarding. We have a 14ft board that I was able to navigate the river with Ease. The trails are a bit difficult to spot and there seems to be but 3 areas to get to the river, after that you walk or float to your destination. Its a well kept park, and a clean river. The parking is vast and if you're looking for a picnic it's a great spot as well. It closes at 10 though Google says 6 I'm assuming it changes with the seasons.

Love this place cuz it's always nice and QUIET. Kinda out of the way and the only thing there is restrooms, so not to many people go there. Not a good place for kids, no playground, no swings. Just a beautiful QUIET park. Let's keep it that way.

This is a nice little park in Monmouth, OR. The drive there is beautiful, farms and fields, if you take the back roads. Be aware cyclists are riding these roads, especially on the weekends. Share the road please.
The park is tucked away in a quiet area and surrounded by natural beauty. There is a park host here. Seems like the park is well maintained and grounds and restrooms are very clean and stocked.
I would recommend coming here if you're going to want to spend a day using their grills and having a get together. What a great place for spending the day eating and playing lawn games. Seems like a good place to take a dip on a hot day too or to get some easy fishing in, if that interests you. Pet friendly park (leash required).
There are some short trails, but don't expect to come here and get a hike in. All of the trails that lead to the water are VERY steep. There are some deep ditches and make shift steps that make it somewhat easier to get down, but I wouldn't recommend if your unsteady on your feet at all. The trail beside the host is the best to get to the water and a nice pebble beach.
This is a great place for families and kids, even little toddlers. The trails are the perfect length for little legs, until you get to the drop offs. Keep an eye and close hand on the kiddos.

Nicely cared for little park! There are many deciduous trees, sho I'd like to come back for a walk in the fall.

Well maintained bathrooms with tp and soap. The group picnic areas looked nice.

Plenty of parking. Nice picnic areas scattered throughout.

Two trails give access to the small river, which is rather clean, slow moving, and generally no deeper than 3-4 feet.
