The stay was good but on arrival our reserved camp site was occupied. Just a bit frustrating for other camper and ourself due to the fact that the camp host caused the situation. Not to their own fault but due to the fact that the camp host does not have access to the Internet to confirm camp site reservations. BLM should provide Internet access for the host so they can monitor the reservation list. All ended well, only because the other camper was so kind.

I love camping at Edson. It’s a well kept park. And it seemed everyone was respectful of each other. Respected the quiet time. I think this year was the best year.

Clean, quiet and quaint campground. Not far from hwy 101 (4 miles) so very convenient to the coast while enjoying some serenity among the trees. Sites are all on grass. Not much shade but when it’s cool/cold, you appreciate being in the sun. After entering, the first several spots on right are along the creek. There is one fresh water spigot and 2 pit toilets. Campground maintains the area well. Not much hiking trails nearby but there are areas to stretch your legs. We would definitely stay here again.

The campground was adequate, just not what I like in a public campground. Campsites are lined up in a field, designated by a stake in the grass; but this is still better than most public campgrounds. Sites were fairly level. Campers decide which side of the picnic table to set up on which can mess up people in RVs or trailers who care. Unfortunately, a large group in one site played loud booming music for a couple of days; maybe the low cost of the campground encouraged those kinds of folks? Our camp host was a highlight; a delightful woman.

Pretty area. Sites close together and no privacy, though.
Camphost on-site was virtually missing in action, and didn’t pick up trash, or meet any campers. He wasn’t available for assistance with the reservation kiosk, and others besides us were unfamiliar with the system and could’ve used some pointers.
We cleaned up our site after we got there…trash all over the fire ring area.
Might go back, not sure.
