Had a great time at this State Park. Definitely make it a point to stop here if you're traveling the Oregon Coast. There's a small gift shop on site also. Not sure of the shop's hours.

Cape Blanco State Park is a very nice state park. Beautiful beach that can be driven on, a light house, a pioneer cemetery, a historical house. Lots of hiking trails. A campground and a horse campground with corals, and cabins. The campground sites are a good size and secluded by vegetation with electric and water year round. AT&T had 4glite. Paved paths to restrooms. Bathrooms and showers are okay. Showers have hot water but no way to regulate temperature.

I've stayed at Cape Blanco 2 times. Both times were lovely and serene. The cabins are far apart enough that you don't hear the other guests much at all. The bathrooms are warm and clean. The park staff are friendly and kind and there's plenty of firewood and other necessities available.

Nice views. On some days, the wind is mild enough that you can actually get out of your car to enjoy them. Not so often though. Hughes House and Pioneer Cemetery are mildly interesting. Long walk to lighthouse if you are not in decent shape. The road is eroded and has been patched with only gravel in several spots. Not ideal for what is supposed to be a bike route. It has been this way for years now; not sure why the Park does not repair. properly.
