This is a bare bones park for HOV guys that don't care about comforts, amenities or aesthetics. They lack funding, are understaffed with no host. Weeds & fallen trees litter the park.
No sewer, no electrical, limited freshwater to spring-loaded faucets. Park staff polite and helpful, but didn't have much to work with. Traveled far to CA to find water in Klamath & and sewer in Willets. Could have found sooner backtracking 20 mi to the ranger station but gas was $5.45 so, just kept on south.

Our site wasn’t cleaned from previous tenants. We arrived after 6 pm. There were cans in the fire pit. There were condoms disposed of on the other side of the fire pit. The ladies restroom was out of toilet paper.
We were disappointed.

Site 18 is one of the best tent sites. Secluded, close to amenities. Campground is about a mile drive from the beach access and was well maintained. Ample spots despite being 4th of July weekend. Can hear OHV throughout the day, but not too loud since they are not allowed in the campground or on roads.

We love that camp sight at the campground so much! It is the only spot we get! Always leave it cleaner then you found it! Makes you wanna retire and be a volunteer host!!

Did not like that site as there was no flat space for a tent except in the driveway area. Also there was garbage around all of the perimeter of the site in the campsite, beer cans and bottles and even a shot glass was in the grass. Around the picnic table was a bunch of smashed crab shells everywhere from a meal that they must’ve had. If I could get my money back I would. Won’t go there again if I can help it.

The campground was in good shape, restoration should take place along the path to the outhouse where there is exposed sand. I had the misfortune to camp next to insensitive people who were BLASTING raucous music and talking loudly most of the day. Then during the night there was screaming between another party and these people about child custody issues. Another camper parked across from me ran their generator ALL DAY. There needs to be education about camping behaviours including no loud music and I should have called the police about the incredible screaming event that took place one night. It would be nice to have a campground host there if you can find one. These events would have been dealt with asap.
