We came for one night to check out the dunes and escape the heat wave in Portland. Our site was not marked with our reservation, the campers who had been there were still there and were luckily "leaving a day early" and allowed us access to our site with no issue. Had they not been "leaving early" I'm not sure what we would have done. Unfortunately the site's bathroom facilities weren't working and there were port-a-pots which were too disgusting to use. So be prepared to either find a secluded space outside or a gas station.

This is a typical wooded campsite with parking at each site, a fire pit and a picnic table. Quite nice but really not much to do other than walk to the dunes, which are gorgeous and definitely worth seeing. I couldn't imagine staying for more than one night to be honest.

It was very clean and each campsite was private. There was a trail in the campground that led us out to the gorgeous dunes and we watched sunset from there. Amazing
