The campground was clean and quiet, and filled with friendly people. The camp host was welcoming and friendly, as well. It's a very short ride from the campsites at Spinreel to the dunes. This was our 3nd stay at Spinreel, and we plan to return in the future.

Not enough room in the sites. Nothing has been changed or updated. Fire pits are way to tall. Camp host was ok. Harassed by the forest service. No longer family friendly. Great job at ruining a great campground.

This campground is one of the access points for the coastal dunes in Oregon and can be noisy into the late evening, this said, when I camped there it wasn’t bad at all.

Camp host is friendly, knows the area well and campsites are maintained as best as possible since COVID.
There is and has been an issue with has local thieves in the area. Try to lock up your things and be mindful of your surroundings. Campers do look-out for one another but there’s always that chance just like anything now and days of something being stolen.

Spinreel has been my favorite place to camp and ride for over 20 years. Unfortunately there are the disrespectful people that need to keep there ATV's off the grass. Also you need to make sure and lock up your gas cans, the thieves are now using bolt cutters to cut your cables and steal your cans, lost 2 full cans and a cable this weekend.
