We have stayed at Spinreel several times every year for 26+ years. We have watched the interest in playing in the dunes explode. We love Spinreel, but have watched it deteriate for several years. I thought our fees were suppose to help with the upkeep. The camp hosts don't seem to have a lot of interest in the campground. We are getting on in age now and can't always make our reservations 6 months in advance but if we don't we can never get a spot to camp. Any chances o them ever expanding for a few more spaces? I guess my biggest wish would be for a nice helpful friendly face instead of someone who thinks they are there just to be the law. I guess we won't be aing it there much this summer. No availability on the dates we wanted. So sad !!!

Despite its age of the park, we truly still enjoy it. We camp with family and friends when we come, very easy access to the dunes, and the beach. Space it limited if you are over 40ft long. We come back at least twice a year.
