We love to camp out on the sand, be near the action, and let our kids ride in the bowls for hours right next to camp. You do need to be prepared, know how to drive and tow in the soft sand, as well as travel with others. We've gotten to our site just fine, and over a few warm dry days with traffic on the sand, it's been difficult to get out without some help from another vehicle while towing a trailer. But being prepared makes the difference, and keeps our outings fun and safe.
