We have camped at Tyee many times in the past 4 years and always have had an amazing experience. We were so sad though to see that Earl and his wife are no longer there because of Earl’s health issues. Unfortunately it was the first time that the restrooms and pavilion were not as clean as in the past. We hope that Earl’s replacement is as friendly and caring as Earl and his wife were. We will truly miss them!

The camp host was gone… arrived Friday left Sunday never saw them. Firewood was locked up- bathrooms didn’t get tended to. All signs said 5/4-5 Hunter through entire campground. Which was the weekend prior.. leads me to think hosts had been gone much longer. Bummer about no firewood access… woulda been nice.

I have lost count of the number of times I have enjoyed Tyee Campground. It is one of my most favorite campgrounds.
The sites are always clean and no trash can be found anywhere. Several sites with a river view. The fire pits are the kind that are high and nice to cook on. Fire wood is available for purchase. Picnic tables are wheelchair accessible. The ports-potty is always clean and filled with paper. The water is potable and garbage cans conveniently located. Nice trail to walk or hike. The park is paved and nice if you have children with bikes or scooters. Horseshoe pits and an open area for outdoor games.
What made my visits so special over the years was having Earl as a park host. Earl made rounds on the golf cart and always welcomed campers with a hello and smile. Earl is retiring and as happy as I am for his retirement I will miss him at Tyee Campground. We campers were gifted to enjoy volunteer Earl.
No cell service. Reservations must be made online. There is a cell phone for local calls. You can call during business hours to reserve a site. Most sites are shaded with beautiful trees. If you're dependent on solar it could be a challenge.
Only negative is that one has to eventually leave.

Camp was very beautiful, campsite 1 is definitely the most secluded. The host told us to move to a different site early in the morning, hours before our reservation was up which was very weird.

As always, clean, quiet, well-maintained campground. Hosts are always right on top of everything. Great little place.

The excellent button would not pick but the CG is wonderful! It is very clean and well thought out.
The host helped with my reservation since there is no internet. It was cold and rainy and he was out working away, and cheerful.

This is a great little campground. Cleanest pit toilets ever! Earl does an amazing job keeping this place clean. Lots of trees and acorns but very nice.
