Nice area, out house acceptable. All of the camp spots the dirt is the consistency of flour that is about 1 inch deep.
It would be nice if the camp spots had a little gravel.

Indian Ford Campground offers a great location that is quiet yet close to downtown Sisters, making it easily accessible. Campers appreciate the spacious sites and friendly camp host, as well as the peaceful surroundings among the ponderosa trees. However, some facilities are in need of maintenance, and visitors noted road noise and dust, along with a lack of water on-site.

A group of us went and was a short weekend trip so we just sat around enjoying each other’s company. We did not get out to see much but the camp grounds were very nice and we had a great time.

Spent 2 quiet nights. Very convenient to black butte and sisters. Mountain bike trails right from the campground. Nice!

Right next to busy Hwy 20, surrounded by burnt trees.

Spacious, quiet, woodsy but no ultra-dense woods. Very close to Sisters, OR for stocking up or taking a walk through town. While it is close to the road, it is not on the road and there is sufficient forest between the site and the road to create privacy and to block most of the noise. If you are looking for 100% noise free, this site is not for you due to the road. We loved the gentle background hum of cars driving by (although we could not see them at all).

While I was there another camper got the tent and sleeping pads stolen.
Road noise from Hwy 22 terrible.
Moved after first night.
