The park personnel are fabulous! So friendly and helpful and the campsite is always lovely. The hikes that you can access from the Lower Bridge campsite are special, too, because they run along both sides of the Metolius River. I love this campground, and shall return!

Lower Bridge is our favorite campground. Located on the Metolius River, the campsites are beautiful, peaceful, and spacious. There are walking trails on both sides of the river.
The only downside this summer was the presence of very active Yellow Jackets. It was very difficult to prepare food and eat outside without being swarmed.

Great site especially off season. We were only 4 campsites occupied due to iffy weather but had great time. Clean and safe.

I anticipated the campground might not be well-tended due to NFS staff cuts, but it was very clean and toilet paper was plentiful in the toilets. Kudos to the wonderful people doing this work in tough times! I always enjoy visiting Wizard Falls, and did again this trip. The store at Camp Sherman was very stocked, and we were grateful to find firewood as well as gluten-free food products. The campground was quiet at night, and people at other sites were friendly. It got down to the 30's at night, but daytime temperatures were pleasant. Just a few minutes of light sprinkling, no rain.

We love our time on the Metolious! Our camp site at Lower Bridge was in great shape. We experienced weather different than previous years. It stormed! My husband said we 10 days too early for the Green Drake hatch. ( late due to weather) The only complaint is the water spigot near us was not working. The rest in the CG worked.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds, and one we visit every year!

Love Lower Bridge. Ideally, it would have a little more ranger support, but I know you are short staffed. I'm advocating for more support for our park service and our public lands overall. Thank you to those who are still working to make our forests a good experience for everyone!

We had a beautiful spot on the river for 3 nights. Campground was very quiet and only a few other campsites occupied. We arrived on Monday. Left on Thursday after lunch. The bathroom was never attended to during that entire time. Only other negative was there seemed to be a lot of loud trucks going up the hill across the river. Including at 4:30 in the morning.
