Nice little park for relaxing or maybe having a barbecue. Could play Frisbee or maybe even fly a kite but there are quite a few trees. Great view of the Damned and has bathrooms. The downfall is no playground

Stopped by for a picnic while on an adventure to the Stone henge replica for the August 2023 full super blue moon. It's a beautiful park with lots of trees and shade and picnic tables.. could use a few more bathrooms though.. powerful display of water coming out of the spillway..

We were driving thru the area and saw the dam sign saying they were open to the public so obviously we had to go check it out..put... unfortunately we decided to take some pictures of the sign by the road and there were a lot of wasps... which meant we got stung a few times... either way we braved it and headed down hill to Spillway Park... saw 2 deer about 40-50yds from the parking lot area under the towers... also saw some fish heading upstream on the fish window area... overall nice place for a picnic and some pictures unfortunately we kept expecting more wasps so didn't really enjoyed it that much...
