West Park (OR)

The shelter that was rented is big and close to the playground for the kids. The downfall of this shelter was there was so much bees and so many spiders and webs around the shelter and under the tables it was bad. This made it hard to enjoy our event without worrying about getting stung or a spider bite. Which a couple of our guest did get stung. Towards the evening was getting dark and you rent it out till 9pm there is no light so we couldn’t see to as we wore packing everything up to head home. If it’s being rented out for the prices it should be spray for all insect and wash for all spiders wen and others insects.

Horrible, weather was bad and they wouldn’t refund the money even though we couldn’t have the party there… not renting the area again.

We have held two family events at West Park in the past five years or so - an anniversary picnic and a reunion. Love this park! It is always clean, with nice grounds & trees, and the facilities are excellent. We have heard many good comments about the park from people who have come from out-of-town.

My husband's company picnic was celebrated at this location. We were able to have games, a bounce house for the kids and ample space for guests to mingle. It was a beautiful location.
