What Guests Are Saying

Canal Creek is an excellent location for group gatherings, featuring spacious campsites and a lovely campfire area perfect for making s'mores. The site is clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant babbling brook nearby. However, the removal of the bridge connecting the campground to the pavilion is a drawback, as it limits access to the swimming hole and hinders group connectivity.

I loved this location and it is my family's 2nd time here for our family reunion in the last several years. The grounds are so lovely with the immense trees, babbling creek and overall outdoors experience. The only negative thing that was brought up, was not having our garbage picked up or a place to dispose of it. When you camp for 5 days or more and you have a large group, the garbage piles up .. and for some, finding the room in their vehicles for the additional baggage to travel back home with was difficult. I believe most people would pay an additional fee to have a way to dispose of their garbage. This might be something to consider for the future, Thank you.

  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.

    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
