I just sent a response via comments, but basically it was one of the worst trips I’ve taken and I left days early!
I was armed next to the stairs for the beach and people continually went through my site to get to them disrupting my meditation while I was suffering a horrible bought with my disease.
Also making the trip less than desirable is the unmowed grass and trying to pick up my 2 dog’s poop successfully- near impossible in long grass. The camp ground looks awful and I hate to think of children running around with no shoes. I know how hard it was for me to clean up and as dogs many times have diarrhea from things eaten on the beach it near impossible in long grass!
I looked forward to this trip and left days early to stay in less desirable camp grounds breaking up my 5 hour drive home.

Beautiful, fairly small campground with easy access to an amazing beach with gorgeous sunsets. Camp host was wonderful and bathrooms very clean. This is one of our favorite campsites in Oregon; the only downside is the lack of showers.

Great campground, especially the sites overlooking the beach. Easy access to Cape Perpetua, Yachats, and Waldport. Facilities in good shape. Garbage and recycling available.

Very pretty and extremely clean. Two weird things: My site was for a travel trailer so I had to back in which is not a problem. The issue was that the site was too short and I had to drop my 23' trailer and cross park my pickup. OK, I could deal. Then I noticed my trailer access and awning on the trailer faced the beach which was great, but the table and fire pit provided were on the opposite side. No big I guess but unconventional in my experience.

The reservation part worked great. But it was the host and the park that made it all excellent. The host deserves a pat on the back. He was so very helpful! The caretakers has the park in great shape. Love Tillicum!!

This campground is a gem. The location right next to the Oregon coast is extraordinary and the sites are mostly clean and well maintained. The live-in managers were present and available to help with questions when I needed it. Even though it was full the weekend I was there, it was very quiet. Everyone was respectful and calm.
I paid for the first night through the recreation.gov app (and had to pay the online reservation fee, as well as electricity hook-up, even though I was tenting and didn't need the electricity). So the first night cost me $52. It was an interior (inferior) site and my view from my table of the ocean was completely obscured by a ginormous RV parked lengthwise on the ocean side. For the second night I was able to snag a first-come-first-served (FCFS) site right on the ocean front side, and only paid $26. That was awesome!
One of the ocean-side FCFS sites (29?) has a huge flooding issue and is basically unusable. Why hasn't management figured out how to clean that up?! It's a nice site with good views, but the lake under the picnic table and around the fire pit makes it impossible to navigate.
I'm heading back to this campground the end of May for one night (reserved through Recreation.gov), with, again, the hope of snagging a FCFS site for the second night. I love being able to wake-up to the ocean view, having only paid $26 for the privilege. Thank you!
