This campground is a gem. The location right next to the Oregon coast is extraordinary and the sites are mostly clean and well maintained. The live-in managers were present and available to help with questions when I needed it. Even though it was full the weekend I was there, it was very quiet. Everyone was respectful and calm.
I paid for the first night through the recreation.gov app (and had to pay the online reservation fee, as well as electricity hook-up, even though I was tenting and didn't need the electricity). So the first night cost me $52. It was an interior (inferior) site and my view from my table of the ocean was completely obscured by a ginormous RV parked lengthwise on the ocean side. For the second night I was able to snag a first-come-first-served (FCFS) site right on the ocean front side, and only paid $26. That was awesome!
One of the ocean-side FCFS sites (29?) has a huge flooding issue and is basically unusable. Why hasn't management figured out how to clean that up?! It's a nice site with good views, but the lake under the picnic table and around the fire pit makes it impossible to navigate.
I'm heading back to this campground the end of May for one night (reserved through Recreation.gov), with, again, the hope of snagging a FCFS site for the second night. I love being able to wake-up to the ocean view, having only paid $26 for the privilege. Thank you!

On the smaller side. All sites were spacious amd most have excellent ocean views. Clean bathrooms and easily accessible beach.

First time camping here. Really enjoyed the campground. Was surprised to find NO waste water drains for dishwater etc. in the campground. Only campground I have camped at without them.

The hosts were great! The campsite was very clean, from the parking pad to the bathroom. There was amble space between campsites. Even though we didn't have a beachfront campsite, it was only less than 100 steps to the beach. We will return!

Site was clean
Just the right amount of brush trimming...privacy but you can still see the ocean.
Bathrooms were very clean and I think they checked them every hour!
One problem....the table was not useable on one side...very wobbly!
