Not well kept up, but certainly quiet. A long way out so no one was around.

This is my favorite campground in Oregon so far! I love the dense undergrowth between sites that provides a sense of privacy, even when other campers are quite close. My dog loves playing in the creek and the facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Note that there is no cell service at the campground or the surrounding area.. while this is definitely a perk, you'll want to be sure to download directions beforehand. In a fit of overconfidence, I didn't bother to do that then missed the turn onto Siuslaw River Road and ended up taking a very long (but very scenic!) route there.

This campground is pretty remote with a single lane road for at least 11 miles. Beautiful location, easy access to the river, shallow.
However, if your idea of camping is rest and relax, I don't think you'll find it here. it seems (also judging by some reviews previously left by others) that this is a hotspot for partying. Both nights of our stay, people were playing concert loud music with all lights on in the camp until at least 11. Then they continued to drink, and then proceeded to fight about their drunkeness...cursing, and yellling at the top of their lungs at one another. Not the best situation for kids. We don't expect serenity and silence by any means, but common decency, yes. No camp host in sight for the entire weekend.
Each camp site is connected to eachother with a path, which is cool for group type camping, not so much if you're strangers?
burning was banned during our stay, not everyone really ready the readily posted signs...and still burned.
Facilities were kept pretty clean, and potable water was in easy access distance from our site (#9). Trash bin at each site.
Site was really beautiful, mature tree's, tent pads, - if you are there when it's non-party central it would be wonderful! It's just a gamble I think!
Happy camping.

Lovely, peaceful. Great camp spots. Clay creek so fun to wade in. Crawdads and fish! Not many water spigots throughout campground.

Such a great experience the first time I stayed, I rebooked it almost as soon as I had cell service again. Love it here! The trail is wonderful too. Caught about 50 crawdads with a net and had them in a cajun boil for dinner at the site. Delicious. Campground was clean and quiet.

The campground look like it was an afterthought. Lots of areas overgrown, and you rarely see anyone in charge there. We got there on a Monday and didn’t see anyone till Thursday as the got ready for the weekend. The host from another campground were rude, and there was no host on site. Counted at least 8 people that showed up and left without paying. The trash is only picked up once a week, so there are flies everywhere since every space had a trash can. The worst part is the road in. It is a pretty drive, till you come around the corner to a log tuck speeding with a full load and down the middle of the road. It could be a much better place if it was actually kept up on. And if you go be careful, everyone seemed to speed on that road. Even saw a motorcycle hit a deer on the road.

What a beautiful hidden gem! We had 3 spaces, all with great tent pads, fire ring, trash can. One site was too tight to get our trailer in, so make sure you fit! Bathrooms are ok, standard off grid deal, no showers. Be prepared to rough it! Access to the water and natural beauty abounds! Enjoy!

Nice camp spots, very clean potties, wonderful water to drink and swim in. Our fire pit was a little on the sad side - the walls of the fire pit were crumbling, rotted metal, so it didn't hold a fire very well. We fixed it by piling lava rocks against the broken area. Note to maintenance staff: check Camp Space #11 fire pit, it needs some love.
