What Guests Are Saying

Tyee Campground has no water available and lacks a camp host, which may appeal to those looking for a party atmosphere. However, it offers a great location for kayaking and canoeing, with access to the canoe canal and a small boat launch. Overall, it's a decent spot for outdoor enthusiasts, but be prepared for some limitations.

NO WATER AVAILABLE AT THIS CAMPGROUND. There is also no camp host. We stayed one night and were thankful to get a spot across the street at honeyman instead. Ideal place if you wanna be a menace and party all night though since no one will be there to stop you or kick you out.

Great little campground. If you like kayaking or canoeing there are a few spots that back up to the canoe canal. They also have a very small boat launch at the far back end of the campground

Nothing wrong with the campground itself, but the management needs improvement. There was no host on site and our site had a camper in it when we arrived. They said they booked through NPS website same as us. Luckily they were friendly and we all fit, but we heard that two other sites were also double booked. A camp host on site would have made sure things went smoothly. You do hear the traffic but it isn’t terrible. I liked hearing the frogs sing at night.

Fun campground! You do get the noise from hwy 101 but after a while you don't even notice it.
Many of the sites have river views or access to the river. Nice area to launch kayaks. You can put in and go to the ocean or to Siltcoos lake! Location is also good for kayaking many of the local lakes.
Glen, the camp host, is great!!

Yes the I there is a highway nearby, but you feel almost invisible in this location. A small campground, with great campsites... Many right on the river for easy access kayaking and paddle boarding. Delightful spot not far from Florence. Will definitely be back. Oriented toward tent camping.
