We stayed for the first time at Driftwood 2. It is a very busy campground during Labor Day weekend with a lot of people doing quads, motorcycles and a lot of other fun recreational vehicles. Our campground neighbor was down all the way from Washington in order to access the sand near Driftwood 2. We had a blast. Our campground had a nice grassy area right behind it and the kids loved exploring around the beach, the forest and the dunes. The camp host, an older gentleman, was such a sweet fellow. Him and his big dog welcomed everyone each morning at the showers where he opened them up and got them going for the day.

The camp host is very polite and helpfull.
We have been using this campground for many years. The only complaint we have is the plumbing is almost always out of order.

We go to Driftwood every year to ride the incredible sand dunes and walk by the ocean. Love it there. And now, the campground has free showers which is very appreciated.
