Waxmyrtle has become one of our family’s favorite summer spots! Most sites are level enough for my elderly mother, shielded from view of passersby, and offers quite beautiful areas to go walking. The only downside is the lack of access to the beach. Looking forward to our next stay!

We had a great time at Waxmyrtle. It was pretty quiet for the end of the season. Nice campsites with good restrooms and water near the site. Close proximity to Florence was welcome to do some exploring. Also you are close to the Oregon Sand Dunes

It is a very nice spot, but could use some work on the parking space. I was glad I could use my phone there. I also appreciated that the dogs I saw were on leash.

There is a 14-day in 30 rolling days camping limit on the Siuslaw National Forest. The 14 days does not have to be consecutive. The 14-day limit covers the entire Siuslaw National Forest and not just this campground as shown in the Rules Section. This means you cannot go to other campgrounds on the Siuslaw National Forest after reaching the 14-day limit. |
