What Guests Are Saying

Siltcoos Sand Camping offers a very nice campsite experience with easy reservation and the charm of nature, including wildlife sightings like frogs and great blue herons. While some campers noted noise from partying and ATV use, as well as issues like trash and mosquitoes, the site is generally quiet, secluded, and spacious. The roads may need maintenance, but overall, many found it to be a great area away from the beaten path.

My site was not very sheltered from the wind and was surrounded by people who were either partying pretty loud or revving ATVs late. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, given that this is a sand dunes site, but was not really what I was looking for, so I wound up leaving and finding somewhere else to go for the night. I don't blame the dunes for being dunes, but probably should have been a little bit smarter about what I was looking for. If I was looking for a Dunes Party Campground, this one seems fine. Just was not the experience I wanted.

Lots of trash left behind, mosquitos were out! Service is spotty but overall very quiet, secluded and large space. Better be prepared to air way way down and have traction boards. Very soft sand some spots getting in and out. Never saw forest service at the camp sites just on the beach and at driftwood.
