What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

Great location just across 101 between Devil’s Churn and Thor’s Well/Spouting Horn. Short hikes to the Giant Spruce and the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center. And a short hike or drive up to a beautiful overlook of the entire coastal area. The campground is long and narrow with campsites on the small creek side. Sites are a mix of tent and trailer, with some variation in where the picnic table and fire pit are located. No turn around but the road is fairly wide. We did fine with our 21 ft trailer but a very large rig might have some trouble. Site 22 was shady but site 21 had more sun if solar is wanted. Friendly host.

The sites are in a forest. The one that we had booked was not level and had dead bushes around it, making me rather unappealing. One of the bathrooms was closed. We ended up finding another campground.

Small spots, but great location. Creek is a few steps from the picnic table. Water spigot at site. Shade precluded effective solar charging. Bathrooms were super clean, bring your own soap, no hot water. Hiking trails were in good condition to get to the visitor center and the huge old tree. No cell service for T-Mobile.

I stayed at a beautiful campsite set on a hill, with a small creek running through it, surrounded by trees and nature.
