What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

Lovely quiet camping in the forest, yet near the ocean. We stayed in #37 which was perfect for our single tent, near the restrooms and trailhead.

Great spot to camp because it’s so close to the nearby sights. The bathrooms were clean. I would stay here again.

Had a great time here across four days. Exceptional camp and three miles from small town. Trails were easy to walk on, even the difficult 1.5 mile walk uphill to the Observation Parapet and Day Use Area. Reopens in March; can't wait to visit again.

I loved all the beautiful hikes through the old growth forest! A short walk to the impressive rough coast with wild rocks spouting water. Great perches on which to sit and watch the grey whales feeding. Spectacular panoramic view from the day use area to which you can drove or hike. It felt like a secret special spot!

I love that there were two hikes directly connected to the campground, the sites were very nice , all backed up to a wooded area and a stream, I will definitely stay here again!

My favorite place on the Oregon coast! Campground is lovely-- quiet, beautiful, well-maintained. The hiking trails and visitor center are fantastic. Tidepools down by the cove are the best I have seen on the Coast.

The campground was well-appointed, and the hiking trails were lovely. I really enjoyed seeing the tidepools and the giant spruce! The shelter and easily accessible bathroom were really nice!
The group site could have benefited from some wood chips or something, because it became very very muddy, very very quicky. Several of the hiking trails had portions that were closed, which was inconvenient, if unavoidable. I would absolutely like to return.

Very few campsites at Cape Perpetua have a level parking area to accommodate sleeping in a minivan, camper, etc.

This is a gem on the Oregon coast. Most camp sites are surrounded by well maintained trees and bushes, with Cape Creek murmuring only a few feet away. Walk-in tent sites well laid out. No showers, but the flush toilets were very clean. The Camp Hosts were pleasant and quietly went about their work. Tons of hiking close to camp.
