What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

We camped here in mid-April and lucked out with good weather. Really lovely location, and very close to Yachats which we also love. Very friendly camp host, very clean facilities, and a wonderful trail system right from the campground. Definitely not a wildnerness experience but a great and affordable way to enjoy this lovely part of the Oregon coast.

Absolutely beautiful camping spot. The sound of the stream behind us was so soothing. The lush greenery was like a rain forest. The walk across the bridge was stunning, also glad it was dog friendly. Only drawback was that our spot was a bit far from the bathroom for my husband who doesn’t walk well. We loved the little town of Yachats.

This is our second summer coming to this campground. It is an absolutely idyllic location. Great hiking baths. Gorgeous beaches. The sites are hit and miss here. Some are REALLY small. We had 21 and 22 and they were some of the smaller and more exposed sites. We love this campground due to its location and would definitely come back.

Lovely little campground in the trees with a little creek running through and a nice hiking trail to the coast with an underpass under the highway.

The trails in and around Cape Perpetua are wonderful, the forest is beautiful, and the tidepools and beaches are fantastic. The hosts at the campground were helpful and the facilities were great!

Cape Perpetua is one of the 5 most beautiful places I have ever been. Almost unique on the whole Pacific Coast, with east-west river valleys going right down to the ocean waves. Utterly magnificent old-growth in the Cummins Creek and Drift Creek wilderness areas, with the sound of the surf reaching deep inland up the forested valleys.
