What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

A wonderful campground. Very nice hiking trails nearby. We hiked up to Cape Perpetua Lookout, a CCC-built shelter that served as a lookout during WWII. This is not to be missed. There is a road to it for people who don’t wish to hike there. Also visited the tide pools, Thor’s Well and the Visitor Center. The town of Yachats is great very small but interesting. We enjoyed the brewpub. Our only dislike was the rv sites that are pretty un-level, common for Forest Service campgrounds. But, you can’t beat the serene creek running right next to the campsites. And the campground host was wonderful and helpful.

Overall the campground was good. Our site #5 was good. The road within the campground is ridiculously stupid. Huge open potholes everywhere. Almost damaged our trailer. We will not be returning until the roads are repaired!

Campsite was basically just a parking spot. Perfect for RV’s, but wouldn’t recommend with a tent

This is probably my new favorite campground in Oregon! Doug was the best site host we have ever met, very attentive and friendly and everything is kept very clean. The campsite was fantastic and we had such an incredible weekend! Thank you!!

Loved how close the campsite was off the road, very accessible. Our site (#16) was a little close to our neighbors, which is great if you have people you want to camp next to. The tent spot was a little uneven, but otherwise great spot, really clean restrooms, great camp host, and peaceful night!

Campsites are mostly fairly exposed, and some quite small, but the location is excellent and it’s a quiet campground with a great creek. Clean flush toilets were a nice surprise!

Wonderful camp site! But please don’t think that your group will have the nice restrooms all to yourselves. Everyone nearby used them. They are flush toilets and have electricity and lights and blow hand dryers. Also even though the instructions say that the site does NOT have electricity- it does have an outlet. I talked to someone to double check but even they were wrong.
