What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

Campsites are mostly fairly exposed, and some quite small, but the location is excellent and it’s a quiet campground with a great creek. Clean flush toilets were a nice surprise!

Wonderful camp site! But please don’t think that your group will have the nice restrooms all to yourselves. Everyone nearby used them. They are flush toilets and have electricity and lights and blow hand dryers. Also even though the instructions say that the site does NOT have electricity- it does have an outlet. I talked to someone to double check but even they were wrong.

The road along the campsite has numerous potholes. You need to be carful driving slowly. Also, be prepared that most campsite parking is slanted. Lastly, the price per night is as high or higher than campsites that have electricity, showers, and dump station, like Carl Washburn, 9 milled further south. However, the location is excellent and beautiful.

I love this campground. I’ve visited 3 times now and every time is super great. I love how in top of the bathrooms the staff is, best campground bathrooms I’ve ever used. This is a hidden gem for sure.

Our site was amazing, tucked away somewhat separated from everyone else and right next to a little creek. Although the site isn’t accessible to all because of the stairs it is definitely one of the best there:)

We loved camping here! The creek running behind the campsites was a perfect place for the kiddos to play. There are flushing toilets that were always very clean and the camp host was very friendly. Yachats is adorable. Driftwood Inn has a dog & family friendly patio and the food is delicious! Lots of great beaches and hiking to do. We’ll be back!
