What Guests Are Saying

Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

Pros:
•every campsite has a firepit
•creek running alongside campgrounds
•the CLEANEST bathrooms I’ve ever seen at a campground

Cons:
•campsites themselves are small
•loudest birds I’ve ever heard in the morning

the campground has a lot of mosquitos, no showers and the spaces are all alongside the road. There were cars/trucks driving all night on the campground and shone their lights into the tents. Luckily we only stayed one night. The lookout point and the coast however are gorgeous- but find another place for overnight.

One of our favorite places to car camp on the Oregon Coast! Easily accessible hiking trails to the beach and always a clean campsite to be found due to the excellent camp host.

A very nice, clean and quiet campground. The bathrooms were clean and had flushing toilets! No road noise from 101.
Most of the camp spots r open and close to their niegbors so not a lot of private secluded spots. A few spots hav access to the creek. Easy hwy 101 exiting and entering.
This location is close to many cool places to see and things to do.

Cape Perpetual campground is vey nice, the restrooms we're very clean.
Water spigots and sink water disposal were convenient.
The campground host kept the place tidy and made sure the place was in good order.
Bathroom were clean well stocked.
Site #16 is SMALL but the tent pad tucks in between bushes and you will hear the little creek.
I will stay again if I am in the area.

Site #16 - SMALL Tent Only
NO Cell Phone Reception for Verizon.
I had reception when I went to the Cape Perpetua Lookout

Great campground. Sound of the creek gurgling by the campsites is wonderful. Only complaint is that the firerings are too deep and you can't sit in a camp chair and see your campfire. I had to sit on the picnic table to see the fire.
