What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

Very clean, very nicely kept. Camp host was incredibly nice, and had firewood at the campsite for us before we were even finished unpacking. Super quiet! You can hear the brook the whole night!

This is a great destination for exploring tide pools and crashing waves. There are trails from the campground into old growth forest. The campground is very quiet and pretty.

Loved this location, numerous trails close to the campground. It was an easy walk from the visitor center to Thor's Well and other sites within the area. No need to attempt parking at any of these locations as the trails were readily available. Camp site was super nice and right next to the little creek flowing through the area, made for a nice evening of sitting outside with the campfire.

Camp host was great. Location is spectacular. The sound of cape creek was soothing to listen to. Site has little privacy and is slanted. Even the grill on the fire pit is slanted. I’ll never forget my time camping here.

Beautiful campground except the sites are very tiny with no privacy

The only real bad part was the weather. It is normal for this time of year, but it is never as much fun camping when it is wet.

Great spot by the river and about 20 ft down a slight hill to the campsite from the parking spot along the road. Can walk to Devil's Churn but doing so means walking along the highway; there's no trail to Devil's Churn from the camp site. There is a nice trail to the scenic viewpoint of the coast on the nearby hill, though.

Wonderful place to camp. This place has the most amazing trails around to hike on. The sites were quite nice and they were nicely separated. The only thing I wish is that the brush was more cleared so the creak was more visible. The grounds were very clean and kept up. Overall this was a great spot to camp.
