What Guests Are Saying
Cape Perpetua campground offers a beautiful setting with clean facilities, including well-maintained bathrooms and friendly hosts. Many campers appreciate the proximity to stunning hiking trails and the peaceful sound of a nearby creek. However, some sites lack privacy, are not level, and can be affected by noise from the road and neighboring campers. Overall, it's a favorite spot for those looking to enjoy the Oregon Coast.

The location here is tough to beat. Near some great hiking, two visitors center and solid food in Yachats.
But the campsite leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the sites are very uneven, so much so that it is difficult to level. Many of the first sites (3-10) lack any privacy, tress, bushes etc.
What was most frustrating when we arrived, we wanted to switch sites, the campground was 1/3 full and the campsite host would not allow us to transfer sites. He made us pay for the new site.
More than anything, with the new private contractors, this site is $39/night! That’s absurd without showers or other amenities.

Very nice little campground, very clean and well-kept, two buildings each with two flush toilets and sinks was a nce surprise, beautiful trails, and a very helpful and friendly camp host. I will be back!

The campground is located in a lovely forested area with running creek. Sites are fairly small and close together. Limited flat area for tents but workable. Camp host was friendly and helpful. Lots of trails to hike and located close to Yachats for a quick trip into town or to the beach.

The campground was nicely maintained but the reservation posted on the site I had reserved was all wrong. I was able to move to the site next to the one I had reserved. It all worked out.

Amazing location, tucked into the woods out of the brunt of coastal weather, but near so many trails, beaches, and recreational opportunities. Well maintained, inviting camp spots. Thank you!

Quiet, protected from the elements, friendly host. Would have been nice to have a shower on site.
