The site and bathrooms were clean. The price was cheap and included electricity. The site however- did not look like it's picture as it had been eroded over time. The "Beach" was an old boat launch- cement and all. The "playground" was no longer- it was still on the map, but had been taken out 15 years ago.

We stayed for one night and enjoyed the quiet, off the beaten path campsite. We didn’t go down to the lake but it appeared to be a nice spot. If we are ever in the area again and looking for a place to camp we would definitely come again.

Very quiet and beautiful campground. I loved kyacking, swimming at the beach, and sitting at the campsite around the fire. It was a perfect vacation!

Nice campground with very helpful and friendly staff. A lot of people were using the beach area which was great to see. The shower building was remodeled, although there were drainage issues which prevented us from being able to shower for most of our trip.

The new showers are wonderful! The roads however need work. Also there was never any paper towels in the bathroom nearby our campsite. The campsite was great and very neatly kept. The wood that they were selling though was terrible because it was very wet and did not burn well.

Roads are rough with ruts and potholes
Shower drains back up and you stand it water up to your ankles

Updated bathrooms are very nice. Despite a lot of rain, the landscaping of our site allowed great run off and a relatively dry site the next day

General
- Pets must be on a leash at all times and cannot be left unattended. Pets are not allowed on the beaches or in the water. Please clean-up after your pets
- Don't move firewood: To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Some states have quarantines and may confiscate your firewood. Please help protect our forests from invasive species by obtaining your firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Visit dontmovefirewood.org for more information.
- Interagency passes are accepted at most sites and are valid for the pass holder and any accompanying passengers in a private vehicle. Pass holder must occupy the site.
- Please build fires only in the fire ring or grill provided. Dead material down on the ground can be used for fires but live trees, shrubs, and plants must not be cut or damaged.
