What Guests Are Saying
Alosa Campsites offer great sites, with AL10 being ideal for multiple tent setups and Site 2 providing more privacy. The river access is breathtaking, perfect for kayaking, and the overall experience is highly rated despite minor challenges like sparse poison ivy and small signage. Campers enjoy the large sites with fire pits, though amenities like benches and tables are lacking.

Alosa sites are great sites. AL10 is best for multiple tent setups. Signage set further back so just keep an eye out.

Site 2 is set off by itself so more private than the rest.
Some poison ivy on the path but sparse enough to maneuver through.
Best river site I have stayed at. Totally worth the $ for guaranteed booking

This summer was an incredible experience! The river was breathtaking, and kayaking was an amazing adventure that felt like an exciting quest as we searched for the campsite.

Overall a good experience. Sites are on river right. Sign is very small, look for brown sign, "AL". The camp sites are large with a fire pan and grill grate. No benches or tables. The camping area is up the river bank, 15 or so stairs to reach. Sites are difficult to identify. Three separate groups of campers including myself arrived at the same time and none of us could tell whose site was whose. Delaware water gap and the surrounding area is one of my favorite places to spend outdoors. Pristine nature. crystal clear water. If you can't get a site at this campground, look for one of the zone camping sites along the river. Do what you got to do to get on this river!!

The porta-potties at the campsite were not clean at all. The campsites themselves did not have a picnic table, which was unexpected. It was very difficult to find from the river - one entrance had no signs and was blocked by fallen trees. The other entrance had no trees but also no signs. We needed the help of a passing park ranger to identify our sites. After we made camp, we helped another camper find their site.

We never saw any signs for this campground — luckily a ranger pointed us to the put-out for A6-A8. The put-out for A2-A4 was blocked by fallen trees (maybe the trees also took out the sign?). The portapotties weren’t bad. The other campers were quiet and respectful.
