What Guests Are Saying
Outflow Camping is a well-maintained and clean campground located next to the river, offering large, flat sites and easy access to the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail, making it ideal for biking and fishing enthusiasts. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the scenic surroundings, which include nearby attractions like Fallingwater and Ohiopyle. While some campers noted issues with gravel tent pads and the need for advanced reservations, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

My first recommendation is that the Confluence Outflow campground remain open through Columbus Day.
Second, more sights should have electricity.
Third, there should be another full hook-up site near the bath house.
Fourth, day use and people fishing should enter through the gate off of Flanigan Rd to cut down on traffic through the camping area. Some vehicles travel a high speed. There are many walkers and bicyclists on that road. Some are small children.

Great access to GAP, Yough river, within walking distance to several good restrurants in town and short drive to Ohiopyle. Bathrooms with plenty of hot water and clean. Other activities include fishing, floating river.

I stayed at the Outflow Campground (in the Biker/Hiker area) while riding the GAP trail. Excellent campground with good showers that were quickly warm with good water pressure. A good restaurant a short walk away was very welcome. The price was great! I would consider camping here with my pop-up trailer as well.

This is a very fine campground in a very nice region with beautiful scenery, many possible activities, and a great location. We enjoyed our camp here and will definitely return in the next season for longer stays. The only niggles we have are: (1) the season here ends too soon - end of first week of October - a great month for camping, (2) every site is provided with a super fireplace and it seems everyone wants a fire 24x7. The smoke is often very heavy and could be a problem for folks with respiratory issues. (3) The campsites are super engineered except for the black water dump pipes - they don't have the usual campground screw-in connection to allow a seamless and reliable connection for your gray/black water dumping. This means you have to hold your dump pipe in the doughnut adapter for any time your are emptying your gray or black water tanks. Not cool. Everything else is over-engineered except for this necessity. I would donate $ to the COE to have this done right. Cellular with AT&T was very good. Two and Three bars but 5G and very fast.

Nice site for bikers on the GAP trail. Convenient to local stores and restaurants. Decent showers and restrooms.

Excellent camping grounds for a nice getaway. Would of got all stars, but the bathroom needed some upgrades and cleaned a little better. But it was definitely good and usable.
Check the place out!!!!

Lovely, peaceful & relaxing at this campground-
The camp hosts were simply the best! They were attentive to their guests and took good care of this facility. Thanks for your hospitality!
It’s a short, scenic ride to Ohiopyle.

Seems like a very good campground for RVs. Few trees, camp sites are close together, and campers are prohibited from hanging anything from the few trees So not a great campground for hammock campers. Bathrooms are very nice, and hot water is plentiful
