Our stay at this campground has been the highlight of my husband and my trip to this part of the state. We had reservations to stay at the campground on the State Park, but missed the small print stating that no dogs were allowed on the site we had chosen. We were turned away, in spite of having our own RV, and had no place to go after driving several hours to get here on a Sunday afternoon. I called Glendale Valley Campground and left a message. Given the day and time, we had little hope of getting a call back, let alone having a site available. Trina called back quickly. She was so friendly and accommodating. She found us an available site for the week, and it was the best site on the campground! Rick then gave us awesome directions to the campground. Both Trina and Rick offer customer service that is a rarity these days. They are both friendly, patient, available, and go beyond what is expected. Rick showed us to our site and helped my husband position the trailer on the site. He also showed us on a map a good trail to walk the dogs and some good fishing spots for my husband. They saved our vacation and I can’t say enough good about the campground facilities and location, and especially the managers of the campground. Rick and Trina make one feel welcomed!

The campground has potential and could be beautiful, but it's cluttered with run-down permanent campers. If you're seeking a quiet family weekend, this isn't the place. Our visit was disappointing—there was man who urinated in the woods (though staff responded quickly to remove him from the property), loud music from neighbors, and constant barking dogs. If you are middle-aged and want to act like a drunk teenager for the weekend on your golf cart, this place would be right up your alley. It felt more like a trailer park than a peaceful getaway. If you are taking a camper, the spots are pretty tight and you better be good at backing your rig into your spot. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful. They did make us feel welcomed.

The staff and stay was great. The staff was very nice and so were the people camping there everyone was very friendly. We had a birthday party for one of our friends and people would drive by and say happy birthday and wave. The bathrooms were very clean and upgraded. The best campground for a getaway. Well all enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks for the great memories

We chose Glendale Valley after having visited their booth at the RV show at the David Lawrence convention center in Pittsburgh. The people were so nice and so friendly and they gave us coupons and we were really excited about going there because it sounded like such a nice place and the pictures made it look Beautiful. When we got there, we were tucked in between two very old campers. One appeared to be a mobile home that had been abandoned. We could literally stand on either side of our camper and touch the campers on the other side of us. It was extremely tight, and the site was overgrown and littered with glass . Behind us, there were the remnants of what used to be a creek. It was dried up in most spots and had a lot of standing water so the mosquitoes were scary and hungry. We also came home covered in poison ivy because it looked like the site hadn’t been cleaned or treated in quite some time. The pictures made it look like the lake was up against the campground, but the lake is down the roadways in the Prince G Gallitzin Park, which had a beautiful beach. Needless to say it was a very quiet campground and it does appear That the new owners are trying to update things, but it wouldn’t cost any money to clean up my campsite before I parked my 22 foot travel trailer. I mean really guys you knew I was coming because you canceled my first reservation in May when you lost power so you’ve had months to rake out the campsite and spray for poison ivy and bugs. I wish you well but I feel like you gotta get some of those old abandoned trailer houses out of there some of them look like they were parked sometime in the 70s and the ones that are remaining should have some type of standards for keeping up their sites. I want it to be super excited because the Staff or phenomenal.
