What Guests Are Saying
Mountain Springs Camping Resort offers a clean and well-maintained environment with friendly staff and a fantastic pool, making it a great spot for families, especially with young children. While RV sites are closer together than some might prefer, they accommodate larger vehicles and provide level ground. However, some amenities, such as Wi-Fi and laundry facilities, have room for improvement, and noise from nearby activities may affect the experience at times.

We love this campground! We have been multiple times this year due the close proximity and fun campground. The pool is great! Perfect kiddie pool for toddlers! The snack shack is wonderful! The sites are nice and level. We always have a good time at this campground!

Very central location for a lot of historical and interesting places. By East Coast standards the sites are average, meaning no separation between sites, neighbors sewer hookup right by your picnic area. Staff was very friendly and nice, but...
Located close to a rifle range so you hear guns all day, showers never got warm for us during our 4-day stay, sewer pipes were uphill from my RV Connection, so make sure to bring a slinky and even then you will probably have to manually manipulate the hose. They should not advertise Wi-Fi, I was maybe 60 yards from the office where they say it works best and was unable to stream anything. There was a sewer rupture in the playground while we were there, forcing them to close the playground. The water was also undrinkable According to some fine print upon check-in. Laundry room utilizes a specific app that you have to download and put a minimum of $20 on. If you don't have 20 bucks worth of laundry I'm not sure what you do. Also the laundry machines were not working and no one on site had any idea how to address that, so I spent 45 minutes on the phone figuring out how to get my washer and dryer going because they had some sort of system glitch. 80 to 90% of the occupants are either seasonal or full-timers. Big Halloween festivities which was awesome for the kids, golf cart parade, dance, food, games. If you have little ones it's probably great. Dog run is very small, not much to walk to except for through the manufactured home park and Campground, no trails. Pricing is better than most in the area, but services reflect that savings.

The campground is nice. Clean updated bathroom. Was a nice trip.
Just some thoughts. They have on website they have a lake. More like a pond. Not much room to knack. When you rent a lakeside spot you should have your little island to yourself. We had kids leaving garbage all on our little island, people constantly fishing there. Kids running thru our spot. We didn't even get to use our island. Disrespectful neighbors which is not the campgrounds fault. Maybe state that when you rent a lake side spot it's used by everyone. Over all a nice place

Great campground. We have a 44' Class A Motorhome. They can support big rigs. There is a pull thru section for short term stays. The sites are a little closer together than we like. But they are level. Grounds are well maintained. Lots of seasonal/permanent RV's but most of those are also well maintained. It was very quiet when we were there. Might be noisier when the weekenders come in (don't know). Did not use the facilities.

We were on a campsite. Its clean , staff is great, the pool is awesome. The campsite for the RVs are pretty close together but all in all it was a very relaxing, easy in and out and for the price you can't beat it.
