About Shenango Lake Clark Picnic Shelter

Situated within the suburban Shenango Valley, Shenango Lake provides an attractive setting where visitors can spend the day picnicking, camping, fishing, boating, or enjoying nature's beauty at one of the lake's many recreation areas. The Clark Recreation Day Use Area is located just off of Route 18 on Route 258 in Clark, PA, and provides one covered group picnic shelter (Clark Shelter) with electric as well as access to the lake to go fishing and boating.

It was a nice sclided picnic shelter. Bonus as it is quite near boat ramps should you need one.

This is a day use area only; no overnight camping is allowed.

There is a small parking area with limited parking spots approximately 100 feet from the picnic shelter. There are two more lots in the recreation area with additional parking 300-400 feet away from the shelter.

DRIVING OFF ROADWAYS TO LOAD AND UNLOAD AT THE SHELTER IS NOT PERMITTED.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED.

Shelter should be vacated by 9:00 p.m.

If not reserved, the shelter is available for free on a first-come, first-served basis with no electric.

Title 36 of the Code of Federal Regulations governs the public use of water resource developmental projects administered by the Corps of Engineers. Visitors are bound by these Title 36 regulations. They are posted on bulletin boards throughout the park.

ONLY 20-AMP ELECTRICAL SERVICE AVAILABLE. Electrical appliances that require higher amperage or using multiple appliances will overload the system. Please plan accordingly.

Shelter must be free of all trash before departure. CONFETTI IS PROHIBITED.
