Susquehannock offers a beautiful and serene camping experience with stunning scenery, a clean park, and friendly staff. Many campers appreciate the well-maintained sites, especially those near the water, making it ideal for fishing and family fun. However, issues with the bathrooms and limited access to showers were noted, along with some challenges in accessing certain campsites. Overall, it remains a popular destination for those seeking a peaceful getaway.

The lake was beautiful. We had a great time. There were some very noisy campers near by but other than that you can’t beat the location.

The sites are all updated with pave or gravel areas. We were hoping for a few kayak/paddleboard leveled put ins however driving around to Seven Points marina and putting in was easy enough. Bath houses are well rustic and occasionally run out of toilet paper so bring your own. Rangers are amazing and answer all questions. Do not forget to put your rectangle white check in card on the post at your campsite driveway!

I almost don’t want to give a good review, as I don’t want this place too crowded. But truth be told, if you mountain bike, you cannot beat this location. The Allegrippis system is right there, no driving to the trial
Head even. The sites are spacious and pretty nearly level. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked.

We stayed at site 21. We knew going here was going to be rudimentary, Rangers nice, even gave fishing lure key chains to kids, just don't park on the grass (insert 70 year old neighbor yelling get off my lawn). All said we had a nice stay, plenty of wind as our site was at the top of a hill. Just wish we had power and a place to launch our boat.

Cons: The campground entrance is super long (very hilly) and super annoying due to many sets of the speed bumps. There is very little to no water access for most sites (paddle board / kayak / boat). No where to moor a boat up. No electric, no sewage no on site water. Bathrooms are self composition, and you will be sharing your space with lots of flying insects inside. No boat launch must drive 20 minutes to 7 points public launch.

Pro's: Potable water at entrance, hiking trails / bike trails. Site layout was good and made for a nice camping area. Generators allowed. Quiet area.

We booked our stay on Jan 5, 6 months in advance as we always do. When we booked our stay the info said the sight was a camper site which we have used on this site for the past 3 years. However the site had already been changed to a tent only site. The army corp of engineers never informed Recreation.gov of this until months later. ON top of that my 10 year old grandson with MD could not camp with us because of the steep hills to climb. Previously this was a very flay site and one he could handle. He and his parents had to stay in a hotel in town for only 3 nights instead of the week. This will likely be the last year he could have walked and camped with us. We feel very robbed of our vacation this year. This was our 42 year camping at Raystown Lake and it was our worst experience in 42 years.

I love this campground. Perfect for kayaks, canoes and boats. BUT bring a roll of your own toilet paper they often run out in the stinky outhouses.

Very nice and clean grounds. The lake is a beautiful Emerald green and very clear. Easy back in or pull through sites with near to level gradient. Some sites are a tad tricky to back in to. But experienced or talented greenhorns should have no problem. Nice hiking trails too. Good family campground, Will stay again.
