What Guests Are Saying

Pocono Camp and Glamp offers a great location with well-spaced cabins and numerous amenities, including a game room and clean outdoor bathrooms. While the Wi-Fi and office availability could use improvement, the campground's peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff contribute to a relaxing experience. Although some aspects like cleaning and bathroom maintenance need attention, many guests enjoyed their stay and see potential for the camp's growth.

Pros: Great location, good enough spacing between cabins, and the ability to buy firewood, fire starter bricks, and charcoal 24/7 was very nice. The place is a little pricey all around but it's not bad in comparison to an Air BnB or something of that nature.
Plenty of amenities, and every appliance in the cabin worked properly. The tent and RV sites looked really nice as well.
We got the Camp It (Stream) cabin and it was relatively clean for being a cabin in the woods.
They have a game room, so if you have kids it would be the perfect place to hang out for a bit, especially if it is hot, as it has air conditioning.
The bathrooms are well maintained, and the outdoor bathrooms for Section G/H are surprisingly nice. They are like portable bathrooms but they have a flushing toilet, a sink, soap, paper towels, and a light for at night. Much better than a standard portable bathroom.

Cons: If you rely on Wi-Fi, I wouldn't bank on the connection there being very good for you. It is slow and intermittent. Nice that they offer it but it doesn't really do the job. You'll probably have better internet on your cellular connection as I did. I'm sure you'd get better performance in the common area building, though.
Don't bother trying to go to the on-site office, there is never anyone there. We stopped by it probably 5 or 6 times over the course of 3 days during their "office hours" because we wanted to buy t-shirts, but nobody was ever there. If you really need to contact them, email them as they don't really answer the phone either. Very fast email response, though.
The road into the camp is incredibly rough. Clearly meant for trucks/SUVs. There are a ton of potholes and some of them are incredibly deep, most unavoidable. Nothing that will rip a wheel off your vehicle, but just made sure you don't have bad suspension before you visit.

Not a pro or con, but there is a staircase down the side of the hill in Section H that leads to a creek, and there is a trail by it. Some sections are pretty rough, so maybe not for kids, but enjoyable overall. It's a bit of a hike, not for people who want an easy walk. The trail markers are very clear though, it would be hard to get lost.

Overall, not a bad place to stay. We enjoyed our time there and would come back again.

We loved our stay here ! You can definitely tell its a new property still trying to get everything going but I think in a few years this place will be hard to get reservations for because it will become a goto spot! The camp store and the concessions location dont seem to be up and running yet but I think will be a nice addition. The game room was very nice and good way to spend a rainy afternoon! I loved the addition of a woman's only bathroom and we had a cabin in the perfect spot that we could easily access that or the accessible bathroom. However, I do think more bathhouses especially towards the back should be considered because cars were constantly driving up to these restrooms and I would of been alittle annoyed if my cabin was as far as some of the cabins. With the constant vehicle traffic many people did not respect the speed limit and that stressed me out some. I think some more postage along each "road" should be posted or perhaps even adding in some speed bumps. I think I read somewhere that they plan to add a pool and I think that would be a excellent addition as well! The only other note I would add is putting a check in process poster at the office as I didn't initially see that info in my email and realized after that it was in the guidebook link which I thought was just a guide on businesses near by so I didnt initially look into that. Another family was just as confused on our 2nd day and stopped in the game room curious where to go as well. We will definitely be booking here again and possibly make it a annual tradition. We can't wait to see the progress of how it grows !

We stayed at Pocono Camp & Glamping and had a fun trip overall, but the place has some real gaps they need to fix.

### **Cabins & Glampsite**
The cabins are sturdy and feel almost new. Our glampsite was big and comfortable. But the **cleaning needs serious improvement** — we found leftover items from previous campers, which shouldn’t happen.

### **Bathrooms**
Bathrooms were clean on Day 1, and then… nothing. **No cleaning afterward**, and with multiple families using them, they get messy fast.

### **Bears Around the Area**
Yes, **bears actually walk around the campsite**. They didn’t seem aggressive, and the kids surprisingly enjoyed seeing them. But with **no water facility on the campsite**, you’re forced to walk out to the washrooms — and having bears roaming around that area is the scariest part of the stay.

### **Activities**
The trail was a hit with the kids.
There’s a game room, basketball court, and tennis court — all looked good, even though we didn’t use them.

### **Overall**
We had fun, and the place has potential. But they need to step up **cleaning**, **bathroom maintenance**, and **basic water access**. Fix those, and it becomes a great spot. As of now, it’s a enjoyable, but with clear room for improvement.

The campground is very quiet and relaxing. The bathhouse and bathrooms near section G are very clean. Jason, the on site worker is very helpful and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. 😌

We came all the way from North Carolina to see my nephew graduate. The camp site was incredibly easy to get to and park in. We had access to everything including the game room whenever we wanted which our boys enjoyed. We hiked the trail and saw some wildlife in their natural habitat. We will definitely be back to see what all they do here! This facility is still new but will definitely be AMAZING when completed!! The staff here is very kind and helpful and our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Thank you Pocono camp and glamp!
