Smaller campground which means less noise easier access to washrooms areas and some good birdwatching. Close to area hike trails.

It doesn’t have much else going for it aside from solitude and pretty awesome firefly’s.
The shower house closes every night *promptly* at 8:30pm and the bathrooms in the campground are only cleaned every 5-7 days. The water is very dirty.

I would like to say it was a horrible experience and don't stay just so we can keep this little gem to ourselves, but I won't be that person. My husband and I are always looking for peace and quiet for our anniversary and this was it. Tent camping in the upper loop was amazing. So quiet even when the neighbors came in the next days after us. Shower house was clean with plenty of warm water. I don't believe we have any complaints other than it was a bit difficult to get into our parking/lot/site with our trailered side x side. Sites show bigger in the pictures of course. This campground rates in our top 5 for sure and we will be repeat campers for sure.
