Everything was awesome. The campground was great. We had lots of fun. Sites are spread out and clean as was the restroom facilities. Only issue was the campers next to us ran a generator all night. No reason or excuse to do that.

Upon arrival someone was already camping in the reserved spot. After showing the gentleman my paperwork that I had reserved the spot he said that there was no notice on the post and that he had paid for the spot at the notice center. There is no cell phone service at the campground so we drove down the road till we found some to notify someone. we contacted someone and we came back and picked out a different site . all and all the second site was better than the one which we had originally picked but it was a big hassle in the beginning of our stay with our new trailer first time out .

If you are towing a trailer from the east, DO NOT follow the directions "if you are coming from the east". Get off at the exit they advise you to if you are coming from the west. You'll thank me!
Though we were charged the regular fee, the water wasn't turned on, so showers weren't available. The contracted management company hadn't done their prep work in a timely manner.
There was trash on the site that had obviously been there for a long time as the bag was starting to degrade.
Site 25 has a steep grade. No indication of that while we were reserving. If your rig is longer than 16", I'd steer clear of it. Seemed to be the only one in the campground with that issue tho. Lucky us!
The redeeming factor was when we arrived we were greeted by a bald eagle landing in a tree about 20 feet from us. We sited and watched a den of 4 fox kits for 2 days. Saw turkeys and deer.
No phone connection, but we knew that AND it was fine.

Beautiful campground. Quiet and well kept. Be aware it is a long walk to the flush toilets and showers. We will definitely stay here again.
