Very nice campground and gated community. We used as a jump off point for our visit to the Pocono Mountain area. Our site H32 was spacious and basically level. All utilities were readily available. It was late September so the pool was closed but it did look very nice.

The campsite itself was generally nice, but the experience left a lot to be desired. The sites are packed very close together, so there’s not much privacy or breathing room. If you’re looking for a place to relax and maybe enjoy some fun in the evenings, this is definitely not it. There are absolutely no late-night activities allowed, and lights-out is enforced really early.
On top of that, the owner, “Debbie Downer,” made it difficult to enjoy ourselves. She constantly came over to complain about the type of music we were playing — even during the day — saying it was too loud. That put a damper on the vibe and made it hard to even get into the mood for their so-called “disco night,” which only lasted from 8:30 to 9:00 pm. By 10 pm, everything had to be shut down.
Overall, it felt more like being babysat than camping. If you’re looking for total quiet, this might be your spot. But if you’re hoping for any kind of fun or social atmosphere, I’d recommend looking elsewhere

We recently camped at Mt
Pocono and the theme was New Years. There were many festivities and we were welcomed when we joined in. We talked with the owner, Deb, and she was very friendly. Another day during our stay we visited the office and Ava and Hope were very friendly and most helpful. The campground is well maintained and the pool is fantastic. We can't wait to return!!

Ava and Hope were extremely helpful and friendly while working in the office. I would give both of them 5 stars. Didn't rate the room because we have a camper. Can't wait for our next visit. Staff and seasonal guests are wonderful!

My family and I loved this campsite! So much that we extended it and stayed an extra night. It is very clean no mosquitoes nice pool and clean bath and restrooms! The store is so convenient they have everything you could possibly need at good affordable prices. The rec room is so nice with a gym setup on the 2nd floor, we didn’t get it to use but maybe next time! I appreciated the laundry room which was also clean. All staff working there were so nice and pleasant with us! Don’t listen to the bad reviews they just don’t like to follow rules. Every place has rules they’re put in place for a reason. From check in to check out we were treated with respect and kindness! I love that the owner cares so much for her campground because it definitely shows, this place is immaculate! We will definitely be coming back for another camp weekend. Thank you to all staff at Mount Pocono Campground.
