Awesome campground, we had a great cabin with a perfect view of the little lake. We love camping here and will definitely return. However, our only real complaint is the nonstop NOISE from the activity at the nearby rock quarry does start to wear on you, and definitely detracts from what would otherwise be peace and quiet in the woods. I know the campground cant be blamed for that, but it IS annoying.

We did a short two night stay in the Caboose rental. It was a fun experience staying in an old train caboose and while it's "rustic" it's still decently maintained and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great and we had some very hot weather! There is a bit of an ant problem in the caboose, which is evidently known because bug killer spray was left for us to use. We kept all food closed or refrigerated and still found ants around inside through out the day. It's understandable though, as the old doors don't seal when closed. Our biggest grip with the caboose is the front door situation. You're either locking someone in, or locking people out, since there's no working door knob! You have to latch metal latches from inside or outside to keep the door closed. It would be great if they could figure out a solution to this so people can come and go as they please.
We really enjoyed the golf cart rental and driving around exploring this huge camp ground. I appreciate how nicely maintained everyone's sites were and people have done such a great job with their decorations and landscaping! Almost all sites are very shady, wooded and private. The pool was much needed on the 90+ degree days we were there, but I did have to skim out the bugs in the indoor pool twice during the day (it seems the bugs get stuck up in the glass ceiling and then die and fall down). It's nice to see they're doing some renovations to the indoor portion too. The parks, mini golf and basketball/pickle ball court were a favorite of our 11yr old, and are in great shape. The lake is beautiful and it was fun taking the paddle boats out! The general store was well stocked and staff was very friendly. We had problems in the arcade with the change machine not working at all, reported it to the front desk in the store but hours later it was still not working. We were able to have the cafe staff make some change, which was nice and helpful!
We visited on a Wednesday through Friday at the very beginning of summer and I think timing was nice because it was very quiet Wednesday and Thursday and we could tell it was getting much busier on Friday.

An absolutely amazing campground. We came for an extended weekend, and had an awesome trip. The campground is gorgeous and well maintained, they have a lot of events which makes the place feel alive. The staff are extremely king and accomdating. We stayed in a cabin, which was in perfect condition. This campground is definitely a little more strict than your average one, but it also a more luxurious and higher end one than most.

The staff here is really friendly & helpful. Jimmy is the master of solutions, the desk girls were bubbly & sweet, efficient while making you feel like you were just chatting with a neighbor. And a woman with glasses & grey hair in the store was so kind to my kids they decided she was the “campground mom” which I was informed by them is a key role. Even the grounds crew took a minute to show off a piece of equipment to a toddler entranced by it.
The property is nice, the accommodations and spots are good, but we will be back because of the staff.

This is a very nice place to camp. It has many amenities and the campsite was spacious. Full hook up. It has cabins to stay. The only thing is our site #174 had no phone/ internet signal and the wifi wasn't working either. There was plenty to do anyway and you want to disconnect but just wanted to mention it.
