Hillside Campgrounds

Everyone here was very friendly and welcoming! Pool was great. They even have it heated at times. Great entertainment on the weekends!

I love this place! Hillside Campground is absolutely incredible, and it has something for everyone.
The grounds are beautiful, with a serene creek and a great network of hiking trails. There’s always something fun happening, from the nightly bonfire to lively events in the evenings. The cafe and dance bar are fantastic, and they even have bingo and amazing drag shows.
The heated pool is a huge plus, and it's clear that the owners put a lot of thought into creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend this campground and can't wait to go back.

This was my third time at Hillside in the last month. The facilities are impeccable, and the staff members are very friendly and accommodating. I've been going during the work week, and it's been very laid-back and quiet. I hope to try a weekend soon when it might be more upbeat.

I'm a tent camper. One piece of advice to newcomers. Call ahead to discuss site options. I've found my favorites, sites 107 and 109, but there are advantages and disadvantages to each site.

As I said in my last review. I've never camped anywhere with such clean shower rooms. This is a big plus for me. I will definitely be back again before this season ends, and I'm really looking forward to next year.

We've been to and drive by a couple other campgrounds on our 3 hour drive north to Hillside. The place has a great staff and everyone is SUPER friendly. The community within will make everyone feel welcome. The planned parties, events and theme weekends assure there's always sometime to do. And then, there are the after hour parties that keep going and giving. Fantastic. We love it and can't wait to return.

I have been going to Hillside for over 20 years. Sometimes as a day camper. Sometimes in my small motorhome. I have found the staff and management to be very helpful and responsive. The place is literally on the side of a hill. So be prepared to hike up and down. It's a very rural and spread out place. The facilities are on the rustic side. But again I must emphasize it is a very woodsy, natural place. They do have a small dance hall and occasionally have drag shows. The pool is very nicely maintained. The part of the camp adjacent to the rec hall and café is a bit more noisy than the farther out sites.
