DO NOT STAY HERE this park used to be super nice but it's under new ownership now and it's terrible. I rented a camper for the night without seeing it first. When I went in they had all the windows open and an air freshener going so I would not smell the mold, must, and cat pee. Could not sleep all night because the heat didn't work. Told them when I got there that the hot water wasn't working and they didn't even come to try to fix it or check it. In the morning my children and I woke up freezing, I discovered there was mold on the bottom of the mattress and I was totally disgusted. I complained and asked for a refund for the rest of the days I booked she didn't take any money off for the night I stayed. I'm honestly considering calling the health department because the fact that she let me stay in that camper with a baby and my seven year old is insane. none of us can breathe today. I miss the old owners, people shouldn't buy campgrounds if they're not going to take care of them, such a shame. Just save your money and book a state park instead of this dump.

Great campground! Staff sooo friendly and helpful. Love walking by the creek and the trail. Price very reasonable. We try to come several times a year.
Just came back for another visit. Park is very, very well maintained. All mowed up, trimmed up, flowers and roads maintained .
Just an update. First visit in 2025. Everything looking great. Just took a shower.bathrooms in great shape. Think it is perfect. 5 showers, water drains perfectly, nice curtains, shower heads and water pressure great.
All building freshly painted and look great.
Staff, as always so friendly and professional. This campground is close to Buttermilk falls, the Johnstown flood museums, the Jimmy Stewart museum etc. kids love the bikes. This is a family friendly campground.we stay at a lot of campgrounds and really enjoy this one. Thanks for another great stay!

The view we had was beautiful! We were surrounded by these big, shady trees, and our camping spot was so nice and level, which made setting up easy. When we arrived on Sunday, the campground was wonderfully quiet, just the way we like it. We also found that the camp store had reasonably priced firewood available for our campfire in the evenings. On top of that, the location is just a short walk to the entrance of Yellow Creek State Park, and the campground is dog-friendly. They have large and clean bathrooms and showers.

This is a very convenient and affordable campsite. There are parking sites for RVs, tents, a few small cabins and a larger cabin with restrooms and showers. Also available are public restrooms/showers, a store, fire woods and ice. Fire ring, parking spots, fishing locations by the stream, play grounds and picnic tables are also conveniently available. We took the largest cabin which was very comfortable. Staff was great to work with. Yellow creek park across the road offers many fishing, hiking and chilling spots. Not far from bigger towns like Indiana and Johnstown. Check out Buttermilk falls if you can!

The camp ground is amazing! The people who own it are some of the friendliest people I've meet. They have plenty of activities to do. From a picturesque stocked trout stream to fish in. To bikes your kids could barrow for the day. They three playground with wide variety of equipment. Including one that is for the wee little ones up by the bath house. The bath house is very clean and has a multiple showers and flush toilets. The cabin that I rented was Brookside. When I walked through the door I was expecting the typical musty cabin smell. But as I crossed the threshold I was greeted with a pleasant smell. The cabin was equipped with 2 bunk beds. One was a full size and the other was a twin. There was also a mini fridge and a counter cook top. Also a ceiling fan and for those cooler nights a ventless propane heater and a electric radiator for backup. Behind the cabin was a little stream and a beautiful wooded area. Bedding and cookware is your responsibility. I wish I would have found this gem earlier in the camping season! They can expect more of my business in the future. To quote my 9 year old son "This place is freakin awesome! I wanna come back again!"
