Lake Arthur Family Campground

Super nice owner! Very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Campsite was very well maintained and the location is great….just minutes from a boat launch at the lake. Also close to town and some nice restaurants if your into “glamping” as well as camping

We love going to Lake Aurther. We’ve been going for about 3 years now and love the people and the owners. We will continue and also love this place for our Bantam Jeep festival weekends. ☺️

Owner has serious personality issues. Catch him on a bad day and you'll wish you hadn't at all. For a campground that advertises as family friendly, it's frankly shocking.

Most of the sites are also in the middle of a large field, so if you want to sunbathe all day on your camping trip this is the place for you.

Edit: Thank you for your response, but you will not gaslight me into thinking I deserved your egregious shouting and threatening. There was no speeding sir, and you do in fact have serious personality issues.

Chris was an awesome host!! He called me the day before our reservation and was very accommodating. Upon our arrival he knew me by name and had us at our site with the firewood we ordered within 10 minutes! He even unloaded our firewood so we could continue setting up our site. He then came back and checked on us an hour in offering any further assistance, should we need it. Our dog also had a great time! The sites are very well spread out and everyone within the camp was friendly! Will totally be back again soon!

What a wonderful little family campground this is... I took the wife and kids here for an overnight camping trip and although the campsites aren't as private as I typically like everything else here was amazing! They had a local winery come in the evening for sales and tastings and warm doughnuts in the morning. The ownership/employees here are incredibly caring, accommodating, and friendly. The other campground residents all seemed to be having a wonderful time and they were all very friendly to me and my family. The tent sites were conveniently located across from the playground and children spent the majority of their time there having an amazing time. I can't say enough good things about this little family campground. I hope to return in the near future. Thanks for an amazing weekend!
