Wonderful campground! Love the unsupervised swimming area - great for swimming long laps when not beach busy. People were very respectful of quiet hours when we were there. Saw camp hosts and staff around.

Clean, quiet experience. Full hookups made our 9 day campout very comfortable. The park was mowed and very well maintained.

The campground is nice overall. The spots varie in size and esthetics. My biggest complaint is the lack of amenities in the non-electrical area. There is no shower and only a out house. In order to access a sink or shower you have to drive.

We enjoy camping by keeping to ourselves and maintaining a low profile. On this particular trip, the campground hosts had to stop and harass me for backing into the grass to quickly unload firewood from my truck bed to the fire ring pad so as not to damage the grass/ground with divots from firewood being tossed out of the back of the truck bed. Between all the campers with the barking dogs during quiet hours, excessively loud trucks, campers backing their trailers in while driving on neighboring grass on others' sites, and parking their vehicles off the paved surface, they're hassling me for trying to keep the site tidy by unloading directly to the fire ring pad. They actually thought I was going to leave my truck parked their off the paved drive and in the grass. They simply look for the easy target so they can feel important. Do your jobs and tackle the real offenders.

Site was clean and well maintained when we arrived. The camp hosts are friendly, helpful and visible during our stay. Bath houses are in working order and well maintained. Great park!

Beech loop was quiet, had huge sites that had overhanging trees that could filter some views between sites. Concessions were closed, lake was exhibiting significant amounts of blue-algae on the shorelines keeping me from swimming or kayaking. Some exploring finds some wildflowers, several deer, and large secluded areas.

We were introduced to Ives Run for about 6 years ago by a group of friends that have been coming for many years. We have been camping here ever since and have introduced it to several more people. It is a clean, peaceful campground with many options for your camping wants. It is a very easy trip from Rochester NY. We highly recommend camping here and if you have a boat bring it along!!
