About Ives Run

Ives Run Campground sits on the eastern shore of Hammond Lake in north-central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by lush forested ridges, the lake offers recreation for the entire family, including picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife watching. Ives Run, with its beach and grassy sunning area, is a great place for kids of any age. The facility has campsites as well as group picnic shelters that can be reserved for family reunions, company picnics, neighborhood gatherings and other group events.

Beech loop was quiet, had huge sites that had overhanging trees that could filter some views between sites. Concessions were closed, lake was exhibiting significant amounts of blue-algae on the shorelines keeping me from swimming or kayaking. Some exploring finds some wildflowers, several deer, and large secluded areas.

We were introduced to Ives Run for about 6 years ago by a group of friends that have been coming for many years. We have been camping here ever since and have introduced it to several more people. It is a clean, peaceful campground with many options for your camping wants. It is a very easy trip from Rochester NY. We highly recommend camping here and if you have a boat bring it along!!

Bring firewood for nightly campfires. Activity at pavilion . Close to wellsboro.. if you have boat or kayak., Hammond lake awesome very interesting for those activities.

This is my 3rd visit. This time with 2 adult children and two younguns'. Always a good time. We don't have a power boat so we just paddle around, enjoy the little beach, bike & hike. Wellsboro's kinda close for a nice dinner. Friendly staff. Clean showers. Quiet. Only wish that little general store was open for ice cream!
