About Ives Run

Ives Run Campground sits on the eastern shore of Hammond Lake in north-central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by lush forested ridges, the lake offers recreation for the entire family, including picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife watching. Ives Run, with its beach and grassy sunning area, is a great place for kids of any age. The facility has campsites as well as group picnic shelters that can be reserved for family reunions, company picnics, neighborhood gatherings and other group events.

We always enjoy our stay at Ives Run. The drive there is beautiful, the campground is well maintained and the host’s do a great job too.

Most campsites here appear to be level and at least partially shaded. Water and electric worked fine, although some shared sources require an extra long hose and electric cord. Grass was recently mowed, broads are in good shape

This is a nice campground. It is neat and well organized with most campsites being large enough to be private even without trees in between. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have good water pressure. We like that the shower house has separate rooms with toilet, sink and shower together.
The swim beach in the day use area is very shallow and great for small children. As two adults we did not find it to our liking.
it's too bad there is no more camp store or laundry at the campground even though we do not use these often.
We have been coming to this campground for the past five years. We have camped at Pine Camp in our travel trailer as well. The vault toilet and porta-potties there were kept clean and fresh.
We will be back.

We always have a great time there. Great sites, peaceful, quiet even with the amount of campers - it is quiet which amazes me every time we are there. Great shade trees, Bathrooms are clean, showers are warm, I would love to see a designated area to allow the pups to wade and play in the water.

Very clean and spacious sights. Is no one working front gate so if you’ve reserved a sight just drive to your site, your pass will be at the site. It’s about a half hour to the PA Grand Canyon, about 20 minutes to Wellsboro. For the price especially, it is a very nice campground.
