About Ives Run

Ives Run Campground sits on the eastern shore of Hammond Lake in north-central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by lush forested ridges, the lake offers recreation for the entire family, including picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife watching. Ives Run, with its beach and grassy sunning area, is a great place for kids of any age. The facility has campsites as well as group picnic shelters that can be reserved for family reunions, company picnics, neighborhood gatherings and other group events.

Ives Run is our favorite campground. It’s clean, spacious, and friendly. Love that it’s only an hour from home with two close-by quilt stores. Also have a great mile loop to walk around. Found a great bike trail also.

Very nice park. Spacious sites with nice, mowed grass everywhere. Every site we saw had at least one shade tree. Glad I printed out campground map before arriving - no one working at office any more. Caution: Hickory loop is the only loop that has shared utility hookups. Ours was on the "wrong" side and we had to park off the asphalt to reach the electrical panel. Some people had to buy a longer cord to reach. Will definitely be back.

Nice sites/park, lake and hosts; hook-ups were convenient and all in order; However, shower and bathroom facilities are really outdated and seem small for the number of sites; the facilities next the beach really needs attention.

We had a delightful time in space 90 BIR. Clean plenty of space, Tree overhead, but not too "woodsy". Park was full, plenty of kids, but place was big enough that it was quite at the right times and only encounter was with them biking the circles. Great for walking around. Open spaces, and all amenities worked. Onsite store was handy for some quick supplements. If you can get away, Wellsboro is a fun place and the 'grand canyon' of PA is close by.
