Beautiful campground with very spacious sites. Our loop had concrete pads for all the sites and many had a view of the lake. Public restrooms were nice but could use a little update. Only issue we found was the restroom closest to our site either didn't have heat or it was not working properly. Would have been nice to have a heated restroom. Would definitely stay at this campground again as it is situated close to Watkins Glen, the PA Grand Canyon, bike trails and hiking trails. And if you like to spend some time on the water, the lake is large and quite nice.

Our site was large and level. Restrooms were clean. And as always the lake was alive with birds.

We had a great time , the only thing that could be better was that the grass was long. They did cut it about 3 days into our stay, but didn't do a great job. With that aside I did have to shorten our stay by one day and the camp host was really unable to help me (didn't get a good vibe from her). I was able to call Rec.gov and they couldn't have been more helpful. I was able to cancel the last day and even get a refund. With all of this aside we had a very enjoyable time.

This was our 3rd time there and we enjoyed it again. We are planning to go again next year. It is quiet; easy to get in and out of; well maintained; lots of friendly people and a couple of good places to eat in the immediate area. It is close to Mansfield and Wellsboro, so there is a good variety of restaurants close by.

Remember, though not clear, utility pedestals are shared between campsites and some may call for extra-length electrical and water hookups.
We were fortunate ours reached since we didn’t have extra.
