About Ives Run

Ives Run Campground sits on the eastern shore of Hammond Lake in north-central Pennsylvania. Surrounded by lush forested ridges, the lake offers recreation for the entire family, including picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife watching. Ives Run, with its beach and grassy sunning area, is a great place for kids of any age. The facility has campsites as well as group picnic shelters that can be reserved for family reunions, company picnics, neighborhood gatherings and other group events.

Ives Run is an excellent place to stay if you are planning on riding the Pine Creek Trail. Campground is a close car ride to the northern terminus of the trail. The quaint town of Wellsboro is also close by.

Nice campground. Pay attention to the distance of water and electric hook-ups. Especially in the Hickory loop. Previous issue of dirty bathrooms has been corrected and all were clean when we were there 7/24/2024.

Always enjoy our stay at Ives Run. We were on site 15 and the blacktop is a bit narrow but otherwise it's a nice site.

Pine loop at Ives remains our go to for reliable and enjoyable camping.
However, loud and prolonged generator use is growing as a problem. From loud non inverter type generators to folks leaving generators running while they leave for hours at a time, it’s time some gentle reminders on generator courtesy be applied.
